Important Notice for our Pension Plan Members
In response to recent legislative changes, and to ensure the sustainability of the Carpentry Workers Pension Plan, the Plan has transitioned to a Target Benefit Plan effective June 30, 2016. For information on what this means to you as a member, please see the Pension Plan Updates from your Board of Trustees found on our Reports page.
Welcome to the CMAW Benefit Plan and the Carpentry Workers’ Pension Plan of BC. We provide British Columbia’s more than 7500 active and retired unionized members with a comprehensive package of pension and health benefits.
We know how much you rely on your pension and benefits. That is why we have created this site, to give you a single, convenient place to get the information you need:
- Detailed information on the Carpentry Workers’ Pension Plan and the CMAW Benefit Plan — about your own eligibility, and about the benefits you are entitled to receive.
- Quick, easy access to most of the forms you need for everything from changing your options to making a claim.
- Information about how your Board of Trustees administers the plans and works to ensure the benefits you need are there when you need them.
